Happy Birthday to Kate!

things started out a little slow...
but she finally got the picture..

john had no clue it wasn't his birthday!

i always thought a friend of mine was crazy when she would talk about how adorable baby feet are, well, i think she's right!

look at the excitement on that face! she got a pink chair just like her brother john's chair, except his is brown, not pink ;)

the day before yesterday, saturday the 11th was my darling little kate's birthday! she turned the big O-N-E! it was a fun party that included chocolate covered fruit and homemade sugar cookies for the older kids to decorate. she has been working on walking for the past few weeks, but on her birthday she magically nailed it. that little thriller wobble is just the most darling thing ever! she also is picking up quite a few words and still loves to growl! she can say: abby (the dog), happy, happy birthday, mary, mama, dada, jack (she calls both jack and luke the same), bubble guppies, i love you. her newest trick i saw today was a wide eyed, mouth gaping face. it's hilarious! and yes, there were other people in attendance at her party, i just chose to only photograph her, i guess!
